Who We Are

Industrioptics is a low-voltage systems integrator serving industrial facilities, logistics operations, and heavy equipment dealerships across the Southeast. We install and support security cameras, access control, structured cabling, and networking infrastructure — and we do it differently than most of our competitors.

We specialize in Verkada, Hanwha, Genetec, Axis, Avigilon, and a wide range of access control platforms — not because we’re locked into one brand, but because 30+ years in this business has taught us how these systems actually perform, where they integrate cleanly, and where they don’t. That expertise is what lets us build solutions that work for what a customer actually needs, instead of pushing whatever we happen to carry. In an industry full of subcontractors who show up, do the minimum, and disappear, we’ve built our name on the opposite: real expertise, and people who care about doing the job right — from the design table to the top of the ladder.

The Role

We’re always looking for skilled, reliable laborers to join our project teams. You’ll work alongside our field operations crew on active installs — cabling, camera mounts, access control hardware, equipment staging, and general jobsite support — across commercial and industrial sites.

This starts as a 90-day project-based contract role. It’s a real trial run, both ways: you get to see how we operate, and we get to see how you work. If it’s a fit, you come on board full-time with benefits at the end of the 90 days. This posting stays open — we’re building a bench of good people, not filling a single seat.

We’re not looking for someone to just fill a labor slot. We’re looking for someone who wants to become a trusted right hand to field leadership — the person a lead tech or PM can hand something to and know it’ll get done right, without having to check behind them. If you’ve got the drive to grow into that role over time, we’ll invest in getting you there.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with structured cabling runs (Cat6/6A, fiber where applicable)

  • Mount and terminate security cameras, access control readers, and related hardware

  • Support senior installers and technicians on multi-day and multi-site projects

  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized jobsite

  • Follow project documentation and site-specific safety requirements

  • Travel to job sites across Tennessee, Mississippi, and the broader Southeast as projects require (approximately 30–40% travel, including multi-day out-of-town assignments)

What We’re Looking For

  • Willingness to learn — prior low-voltage, electrical, or construction experience is a plus but not required

  • Comfortable working at heights, in industrial environments, and on active jobsites

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for multi-day projects

  • Valid driver’s license, required given regular travel to client sites

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening — required for access to secure client facilities

  • Tennessee Low Voltage license, or willingness to obtain one — we’ll support you in getting it, and it’s a real signal of the career track this role can lead to

  • A strong work ethic and a “figure it out” attitude

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • A genuine desire to grow — this role has a real ceiling above it for people who want to earn their way up to lead tech and beyond

What You Get

  • Real path to full-time employment with benefits after 90 days — not a vague promise, a built-in process

  • Hands-on training from experienced techs and PMs

  • Work across a variety of industrial, logistics, and commercial sites — never the same day twice

  • A company that treats its field people as the reason we win business, not a cost to manage

If you’re ready to work hard, learn a trade, and be part of a team that actually has your back, we want to hear from you.
